Race Faster.

The SLX wings are the second Starboard Foils wing collection developed using Martin Fischer and Mathieu Durand’s ground-breaking automated optimisation method. With aspect ratios ranging from 11 to 15, the optimisation parameters were based on analysing real racing conditions for each wing size.

Whether windsurf or wing foil racing, the SLX delivers outstanding top speed, a wide wind range, and strong low-end power to maintain flight through crowded buoy turns or to maximise start-line strategy.

Compatibility

All SLX front wings are designed to work with UCS, the universal foil connection standard.

Introducing the SLX

Optimised Tail Wing Pairings

The smallest tail wing. For riders looking for minimum drag. Its small surface area makes the foil more technical to ride.

The all-round option with a good mix of speed and stability. Choosing this size puts the emphasis on reducing drag with a slight penalty on stability and riding comfort.

Wing racers often prefer this size for added stability and control. In racing conditions, extra stability and control often equals higher average speeds.

For riders who wish to boost upwind/downwind efficiency at lower speeds in course-racing mode.

New! For freeride riders looking for more performance. Thanks to its larger area, the SLX 190 boosts light wind take off and makes tacking and jibing without dropping off the foil easier.

Mast Configurations

Mast choice sets the baseline for control, weight, maneuvrability and speed. Configure your system to suit conditions and discipline.

Solid Core Carbon Series

Maximum speed. Our thinnest mast profile, engineered for high-speed control and minimal drag.

Foam Core Carbon Series

Minimum weight, maximum maneuverability. Optimised for reduced mass and swing weight, delivering a light, agile ride.

Aluminium V8 Series

Stiff, durable, ultra-strong. High torsional stiffness and reliable performance in a robust, bomb-proof construction.
