INTRODUCTION

Our dedication to innovation since 1994 has made Starboard one of the pioneers of modern foiling.

That same spirit has led to breakthrough racing foils, back-to-back world titles and the introduction of foiling to the Olympic Games. Along the way, we have also introduced engineering solutions such as the carbon/aluminium/carbon foil construction and side-bolts — innovations that are now widely adopted across the industry.

Today, we are proud to introduce our UCS collection, featuring two major innovations: the Universal Connect System and a revolutionary wing design process called Auto-Optimisation 7000X.

UCS is a new foil connection standard designed to simplify compatibility across components and brands. When you see the label “Works with UCS”, you can be confident the components are designed to fit and work together seamlessly.

Auto-Optimisation 7000X, developed by Martin Fischer and Mathieu Durand, represents a breakthrough in foil design. Using advanced computational optimisation, thousands of design iterations are evaluated to generate highly refined wing geometries. What would once have taken decades of traditional prototyping can now be achieved in a fraction of the time — resulting in wings that deliver unprecedented efficiency and performance.

We've started a truly exciting new chapter for Starboard Foils, and we hope you’ll be just as inspired by this new collection as we are.

SPECIAL THANKS

We couldn't have done it without you

Nine years - it's been an extraordinary journey to put this new collection together. From the design team and the pro-rider team here at Starboard Foils, we'd like to thank everyone who has supported us and helped us along the way since the early days, when we were secretly making foils in the back of the Starboard workshop.

And most importantly, we'd like to thank you, who have riding with us, for your interest in our latest developments and those of you who have followed us over the years. 2026: let's go!
