Fuselages for Wing, Downwind, SUP and Surf
66 cm – The optimal fuselage length for wing, wave, downwind, surf and pump foiling.
79 cm – An extra-long fuselage for wing foilers seeking additional pitch stability, and for windsurf freestyle riders.
Both fuselages are available in aluminium. The 66 cm fuselage is also available in carbon, reducing weight by 250g.
Can I shorten my fuselage?
Yes. By pairing a 66 fuselage with a 'Short' tail wing, the fuselage length reduces to 59cm.
By pairing the 79 fuselage with a 'Short' tail wing, the fuselage length reduces to 72cm.
Can I adjust wing angles?
Yes. UCS fuselages comes with a default angle spacer installed. By purchasing the optional Angle Spacer Set, you can replace the default angle spacer with other angles.
IS THE FUSELAGE REVERSIBLE?
66cm:
Yes. Both sides are symmetrical
79cm:
Yes. One side is 8cm longer than the other. Placing the longer side forward generates more power. Placing the shorter side forwards reduces power.
PRECISION TUNING
The UCS platform enables independent adjustment of wing angles and longitudinal balance.
Using optional Angle Spacer Sets and Fuselage Collars, you can fine-tune front and tail wing angles, shift wing positions, and optimise stability, lift profile and pitch response.
