99 cm – The optimal fuselage length for windsurf foiling, from freeride to slalom racing.
109 cm – An extra-long windsurf foiling fuselage designed for course racing in light winds. Its increased length and forward wing placement improve early take-off and upwind VMG.
Can I shorten my fuselage?
Yes. By pairing a 99 fuselage with a 'Short' tail wing, the fuselage length reduces to 92cm.
By pairing the 109 fuselage with a 'Short' tail wing, the fuselage length reduces to 102cm.
Can I adjust wing angles?
Yes. UCS fuselages comes with a default angle spacer installed. By purchasing the optional Angle Spacer Set, you can replace the default angle spacer with other angles.
IS THE FUSELAGE REVERSIBLE?
99cm:
Yes. One side is 2cm longer than the other. Placing the longer side forward generates more power. Placing the shorter side forwards reduces power.
109cm:
No. One side is considerably longer than the other. Placing the longer side forward is recommended for course racing.
PRECISION TUNING
The UCS platform enables independent adjustment of wing angles and longitudinal balance.
Using optional Angle Spacer Sets and Fuselage Collars, you can fine-tune front and tail wing angles, shift wing positions, and optimise stability, lift profile and pitch response.
